Job summary

Contract Pharmaceuticals Limited in India is seeking a diligent engineer to ensure cGMP compliance, plan and execute erection and commissioning of HVAC and related water systems, and qualify utility equipment according to defined standards.

You will develop SOPs, schedule preventive maintenance, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, manage spare parts, monitor power consumption, train staff, and maintain all cGMP documentation to support safe, reliable plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with cGMP requirements and GEP, and regulatory laws.
• Plan and allocate daily work activities for erection and commissioning of HVAC and related water systems.
• Ensure qualification and documentation of all utility equipment per defined standards.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance to enhance efficiency and reliability of HVAC and water systems.
• Coordinate with vendors to complete installation and qualification activities within timelines.
• Develop and implement SOPs related to operation and maintenance.
• Monitor power consumption and coordinate with project dept for handover of new systems.
• Manage spare parts inventory with purchasing.
• Streamline system performance through defect analysis and corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain all cGMP documentation and records.
• Train downstream staff for proper operation, maintenance, and project execution.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, production teams, and external contractors to meet objectives on time.
• Provide updates to management on critical issues and corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to cGMP standards within the plant.
• Complete all tasks assigned by management within timelines.
• Maintain safety practices during operation and maintenance.

• Plan and allocate daily work activities and manpower, ensuring timely execution of erection and commissioning of all HVAC and related water systems.
• Ensure qualification and documentation of all utility equipment as per defined requirements and standards.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs effectively to enhance efficiency and reliability of HVAC and water systems.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure installation and qualification activities are completed within timelines for all utilities.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to operation and maintenance.
• Monitor and optimize power consumption without impacting production schedules. Coordinate closely with the project department for smooth handover and transition of new systems and projects.
• Ensure spare parts inventory management in coordination with the purchase department.
• Streamline HVAC and water system performance through defect analysis and corrective actions.
• Prepare, implement, and maintain all cGMP documentation and related records.
• Train downstream staff for proper operation, maintenance, and project execution as per requirements.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, production teams, and external contractors to achieve objectives efficiently and on time.
• Provide regular updates to higher management on critical issues during operations and status of corrective actions.
• Responsible for implementation and adherence of cGMP standards within the plant.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management in alignment with job role.
• Maintain and ensure adherence to safety practices during plant operation and maintenance.
• Complete all tasks assigned by the reporting manager within stipulated timelines.
