Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering; experience in electronics/electromechanical parts sourcing, development, supply chain.
• Strong procurement/sourcing or supply chain background with cost optimization focus.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data analytics for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Implement Sourcing & Purchasing VAVE/CRP projects to attain YoY savings targets.
• Handle localization, re-sourcing, VAVE-CRP projects, Nego projects, SOB changes with suppliers.
• Support sales & marketing with QCD commitments and supplier engagements.
• Coordinate price negotiations, capacity planning and process cost calculations with key suppliers.
• Develop cost estimates for various commodities and manage supplier cost audits & workshops.

What you can look forward to as Assistant Manager - Buyer (m/f/d):

• Implementation of Sourcing & Purchasing VAVE/CRP projects to attain YoY target savings of 3% from Yearly spend value.
• Future projects pipeline creation by handling Localization, Re-sourcing, VAVE-CRP projects, Nego projects, SOB change projects from High to Low cost suppliers, Proximity analysis to reduce transport costs & Direct buy projects.
• SWAT case creation and approval for new business, source change, second source introduction and process change etc.
• Ensure QCD with all suppliers to support sales & marketing team.
• Handling all commercial workings, increase and decrease approvals, Part & Tooling PO amendment.
• Capacity management with key suppliers, Machine hour rate and process cost calculation for price negotiation with suppliers.
• Developing cost estimates & projections for commodities like Stamping, Forging, Casting (PDC/GDC/Ferrous), Sintering, Plastic Injection/Compression molding, Rubber parts, Springs, Motors, Fabrication & Standard parts.
• Costing, VAVE, Supplier cost audit, Supplier process optimization, moderation of DtC, CRP and VAVE workshops.

Your Profile as Assistant Manager - Buyer (m/f/d):

• Bachelors degree in electrical & Electronics Engineering with experience in Handling Electronics /Electromechanical parts sourcing, development, Supply chain, Value Management
• Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
• Strong communication and coordination skills
