Job summary

Tenneco India invites a seasoned Maintenance & Reliability Engineer to spearhead preventive and predictive maintenance across the plant, with focus on reducing downtime and boosting MTBF and OEE.

You will plan shift manpower, manage spare parts, drive TPM, support machine reconditioning and capacity improvements, and ensure TS/ISO/OHSAS standards compliance. Strong leadership and communication are required; travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications: Diploma/ B.tech in Mechanical or Bachelor Degree.
• Experience: 10–15 years in maintenance/reliability roles.

• Implement and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance systems to reduce downtime and improve MTBF & OEE.
• Plan shift manpower and breakdown activities; ensure spare availability and preventive maintenance compliance.
• Drive TPM across the plant and support machine reconditioning and capacity enhancement initiatives.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with TS, ISO, OHSAS standards; analyze data for cost and problem resolution.
• Lead process reliability improvements, defect prevention, poka-yoke implementation, and support new projects.
• Manage spare planning, ordering, and consumption; monitor power cost per unit and maintain a safe, clean work environment.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY OF THE POSTION *

• Implement and monitor robust preventive and predictive maintenance systems to reduce downtime and improve MTBF & OEE.

• Lead initiatives for process reliability, defect prevention, and poka-yoke improvements; support new project implementation.
• Manage spare planning, ordering, and consumption reduction; monitor power cost per unit and ensure safe, clean work environment.
