Job summary

Dolphin Hotels Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee cleanliness, orderliness and appearance across the hotel and public areas. You will manage inventories, budgets, pest control, and supplier coordination to maintain high standards.

The candidate should have 10+ years in luxury hotel housekeeping, including 2-3 years in a similar role, with strong leadership and cost-control abilities.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Reporting to the HOD (EHK) for day to day responsibilities
• Responsible for cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entire Hotel/ Restaurants/ Public areas.
• Assists in Preparation of Annual Housekeeping Budget.
• Ensure that rooms are made as per standard.
• Maintain par stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen and uniform.
• Organize inventories with Accounts and General Store for linen, uniform and fixed assets.
• Pay particular attention while organizing pest eradication activities.
• Develop and implement Housekeeping systems and procedures
• Prepare reports for management information (MIS report).
• Assist Purchase department in selecting suppliers for items related to Housekeeping.
• Coordination with Horticultural activities.
• Attendinpg and resolving guest complaints.
• Verification of supplies consignments.
• Organize on-the job training and evaluate its effectiveness.
• Maintains a time logbook of all employees within the department.
• Coordinating the preventive maintenance schedule of rooms and a public area with the maintenance department.

Preferred candidate profile

Work experience with brand hotels, Preferably a male candidate below 35 old, with a Bachelors Degree (BHM) or Three year Diploma in Hotel Management (3 year DHM/ BHM with Minimum 10 years of experience in 4-5 star hotel out of which at least 2 to 3 years in a similar role. Strong Operational/ Technical Knowledge in Housekeeping, Strong Leadership attributes and organizational skills, Entrepreneurial, thinks out of the box and Able to drive change and look for operational efficiencies/ synergies across the organization.
