Assistant General Manager - Supplier Quality (Module)

Job Purpose

Focus on relentless prioritization to maintain delivery on value, whilst ensuring secure, reliable and efficient operations for the product which are aligned with product roadmap objectives

Roles and Responsibilities

• Reviewing and Monitoring for all levels of Quality Assurance and Control like Incoming Quality Control, In Process Quality Control and Final Quality Assurance of the Solar Photovoltaic Modules.
• MIS Preparation and ISO Documentation to prepare the Various Quality Reports and maintain the activity of Document Control as per the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001.
• Complete Accountability & Inspection of Visual, Electrical and Final Quality Parameters of the Solar Panel.
• Improvement in production process to reduce rework, rejections.
• Implementation of Various Quality Standard tools.
• Product and process audit to ensure the stability of process and quality of product at each stage of Solar Photovoltaic modules manufacturing process & measure the process performance.
• Define standards for Module quality tests (e.g. Sun simulator, Cell tests etc) and continuously upgrade these standards in line with best practices; Review quality inspection reports to participate in root cause analysis and solution implementation.
• Develop internal and external feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service quality- ; work closely with customers to assess product and process consistency.
• Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring the company's quality systems and policies into compliance with quality system requirements.
• Ensures compliance with the customer requirements, quality policy, company standards, regulatory and external standards.
• Ensure timely quality audits; record and analyze feedback and initiate follow-up audits where necessary.
• Manage training of all company personnel in the requirement, documentation and maintenance of the corporate Quality System.
• Responsible for company's Environmental, Safety and Energy certifications as per ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001
• Implementation of TQM tools like 5S, Quality Circles, Kaizen, coordinating Six sigma projects
• Training and implementation of TQM Tool Statistical process control: Scatter Plots. Control Charts. Flow Charts. Cause and Effect, Fishbone, Ishikawa Diagram. Histogram or Bar Graph throughout the organization, Analyzing and preparation of COQ
