Job description

Role & responsibilities

1) Own safe production execution and statutory compliance. Enforce risk controls, safe work, housekeeping and stop-work discipline when safety, quality or process controls are inadequate.

2) Deliver approved production plans for quantity, mix, quality and timing. Lead daily and shift reviews, monitor output, manage changeovers and recover production gaps.

3) Build quality at source through standard work, critical checks, traceability, segregation and rapid containment. Support root-cause analysis and verify corrective-action effectiveness.

4) Plan and deploy manpower by workload and skill. Manage attendance, training, performance and succession; develop supervisors and strengthen accountability across operating teams.

5) Improve output, first-pass yield, equipment effectiveness and labour productivity. Reduce scrap, rework, downtime, overtime and consumable losses while meeting agreed cost targets.

6) Sustain approved process settings, start-up checks and basic equipment care. Coordinate maintenance and cross-functional actions, support trials and stabilise operations during volume ramp-up.
