Job summary

Platinum Industries invites applications for a senior AGM Operations role at our Palghar plant in Maharashtra. The incumbent will lead end-to-end plant operations across production, maintenance, utilities, stores, and logistics, ensuring safety, quality, and cost-efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end plant operations including production, maintenance, utilities, stores, and logistics functions.
• Achieve production targets as per planned schedules while optimizing manpower and materials.
• Monitor daily production performance, downtime, yields, wastage, and operational KPIs.
• Coordinate with planning, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure timely execution of production plans.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and process controls to minimize defects and rejections.
• Implement preventive and breakdown maintenance to improve equipment reliability and plant uptime.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with Factory Act, labor laws, environmental regulations, and all statutory requirements.
• Lead cost reduction, productivity improvement, and operational excellence initiatives (Lean, TPM, Kaizen, etc.).
• Manage manpower planning, performance monitoring, and team development.
• Maintain healthy industrial relations and coordinate closely with HR on employee matters.
• Prepare and present MIS, operational dashboards, and performance reports to management.
