Job description

• Maintain books of accounts (cash book, ledger, journal)
• Process payments, receipts, and journal entries, reconcile bank statements monthly.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Assist in preparing the annual budget and revised estimates for departments and the university
• Oversee student fee collection, refunds, scholarships and hostel/mess accounts.
• Reconcile fee receipts with admissions and examination data.
• Verify bills, purchase orders and contracts for financial compliance
• Vendor payments, ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other statutory filings.
• Preparation of Budget, Bank reconciliation and Balance Sheet
• General Accounts Supervision and Closing
• Assist in GST filings, internal and external audits
• Prior work experience in any University / Hospital / Medical college / or in any Education Institution is preferred
