Qualifications

• Post Graduate in Finance with 5-8 years post-qualification experience.
• Excellent academic record.
• Good knowledge of taxation.
• Knowledge of accounting software mentioned (Tally/ERP/SAP).

Responsibilities

• Overall supervision of the accounts department of the college.
• Verification of cash payments/bank payments/journals/vouchers/bank reconciliations.
• Verification of billing processing and regular bank processing.
• Taxation work as required (TDS filing/Form 16/Form 16A/Sales Tax).
• Checking of reports (TDS/VAT/IT Returns/other bank-related works).
• Ensure proper deduction of TDS on salary.
• Reconcile fees of the college (30th Sep/31st March).
• Ensure queries/transactions are resolved on a timely basis.
• Assist preparation of balance sheet of the college.
• Update reports (monthly, quarterly) in Google Drive.

Job Title - Accounts Officer

Reporting - Group Head - Finance & Accounts

Job purpose

The role of the Accounts Officer is as follows: -

• To assist the Manager (Group Accounts) in the administration of the Institutes financial accounts. Good management decisions rely heavily on accurate and timely presentation of financial information. As such the overall financial health of the Institute is supported from this area through the delivery of effective accounts department services. The role is to be performed with high standards of service to external and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Should be a Post Graduate in Finance (preferably)
• Excellent academic record with a minimum of 5-8 years post qualification experience
• Good knowledge of accounting software Tally/ ERP /SAP, OTHERS.
• Good knowledge of Taxation.

Roles and Responsibilities

Will be responsible for the following tasks:-

• Responsible for overall supervision of Accounts Department of the college
