Job summary

IndiaFirst Life is seeking a QA analyst for Life Asia / Core Policy Servicing testing. The role involves defect tracking, test planning and execution, and new product setup and testing across core policy applications.

Ideal candidates will have strong understanding of Life Insurance processes, SDLC/STLC, and proficiency with Excel and defect tracking tools, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of Life Insurance Processes
• Knowledge of SDLC & STLC
• Knowledge of Functional Testing and Hands-on Experience on Core Policy Applications like Life Asia & Group Asia
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in using Excel and defect tracking tools
• Requirement Analysis and identifying testable scenarios, clarifying gaps with Business Analyst
• Preparing Test plans, identifying test data, defining scope and timelines
• Test case design (Positive, Negative and Boundary)
• Obtaining signoffs on test design and test cases from stakeholders
• Test execution, verifying data flow and system processes across integrations
• Defect logging and follow-up with Tech team until closure
• Obtaining signoff from Business Stakeholders
• Tracking and storing of Test Artifacts and Signoffs for Audit purposes

• Responsible for Requirement Analysis, identifying testable scenarios and clarifying Gaps with Business Analyst
• Responsible for preparing Test plan, identifying test data requirements and defining the scope and timelines for same.
• Test Case designing (Positive, Negative and Boundary test case).
• Obtaining Signoffs on Test Design and test cases from all stakeholders
• Test execution, verifying accuracy of system processes, calculations, integrations and ensure accurate flow of data from one system to another.
• Defect Loging where there is a deviation, flowup with Tech team for resolution and reverifying the same post closure of Defect.
• Obtaining Signoff form Business Stakeholders
• Tracking and Storing of Test Artifacts and Signoffs for Audit purpose.
