Job summary

John Cockerill in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Procurement Data & KPI Controller to own end-to-end data analytics for global procurement operations across our industrial sectors. The role is based in Mumbai with a global scope and cross-functional collaboration.

You will collect, manage, analyze procurement data, develop dashboards, monitor spend analysis and drive process improvements. Strong Excel, SAP/Ivalua, PowerBI, and Tableau skills are essential, along with English fluency.

Job Purpose

Control and Manage Procurement Data & KPIs supporting Global Central Procurement Organization. The Procurement controller role involves proactively managing the end-to-end data analytics and reporting process in support of sourcing and procurement operations. This includes data intake, data management, and data reporting ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with procurement strategies. The position is based in Mumbai (India) with a global scope across John Cockerill Industry, Energy, Hydrogen, Defense, services and corporate procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Collection and Management: Gather and manage procurement data from various sources. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
• Data Analysis: Analyse procurement data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Use statistical methods and data visualization tools to present findings.
• Reporting: Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track key procurement metrics, such as spend analysis, spend cube updating, and cost savings.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements based on data analysis. Recommend and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with procurement team members, Finance, IT and other stakeholders to understand data needs and provide insights that support strategic decision-making. Develop data management capability in the wider organization, that where possible deliver solutions that allow for self-service analytics.
• Tool Utilization: Utilize procurement and data analysis tools to streamline data collection and analysis processes. Stay updated on the latest tools and technologies.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure data practices comply with company policies and industry regulations. Identify and mitigate risks related to data management and analysis.
