Job summary

Sonalika Tractors in India seeks a seasoned Business Excellence & Continuous Improvement leader who will drive Lean manufacturing initiatives across manufacturing and support functions to improve productivity, efficiency, quality and cost effectiveness.

You will lead Kaizen, 5S, VSM, TPM and OEE programs, identify bottlenecks using structured problem‑solving methods (PDCA, DMAIC, 5-Why, Fishbone, Pareto) and deliver cost-reduction and productivity improvements.

Qualifications

• 5-12 years of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of business excellence principles, including lean management and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements that result in significant cost savings or revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute improvement initiatives across manufacturing and support functions to enhance productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, VSM, TPM, OEE, Standard Work, and waste-elimination initiatives across plant operations.
• Identify process bottlenecks and operational losses through structured problem-solving methodologies such as PDCA, DMAIC, 5-Why, Fishbone, and Pareto analysis.
• Drive initiatives for cost reduction, manpower optimization, machine utilization, cycle-time reduction, line balancing, and elimination of process losses.
• Benchmarking & Best Practices: Conduct internal and external benchmarking, identify industry best practices, and facilitate their deployment across relevant functions.
• Management Reporting & Reviews: Prepare business excellence dashboards, MIS, project status reports, and management review presentations highlighting performance, gaps, action plans, and improvement results.
