Super Dry Desiccant Pvt. Ltd. in Surat seeks an experienced Sales & Business Development professional to drive growth across domestic and international markets.

The role emphasizes acquiring new customers, building partnerships, and delivering tailored desiccant solutions for manufacturing and packaging sectors. Expect frequent travel within India and overseas, with a proven track record in meeting revenue targets and nurturing long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B and B2C sales/business development.
• Mandatory experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing, speciality chemicals, industrial products, packaging, desiccants, or related sectors is a plus.
• Strong track record in new customer acquisition, lead generation, sales conversion, and relationship management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within India and overseas.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate in a target-driven environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience dealing with international customers, export markets, exhibitions, or audits is an added advantage.
• Self-motivated, proactive, commercially oriented, and comfortable with extensive field engagement.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development through lead generation, prospecting, market research, customer visits, and networking.

• Explore new markets and customer segments for expansion.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, trade fairs, conferences, and forums in India and overseas.
• Coordinate audits and site visits; compile audit reports as required.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and industry developments.

Job description

Role & Responsibilities:

• Drive new business development through lead generation, prospecting, market research, customer visits, and networking.
• Identify and acquire new B2B and B2C customers across assigned markets and industry segments.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to generate repeat business and long-term partnerships.
• Understand customer requirements and coordinate with internal teams to recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, presentations, and respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular customer meetings, market visits, market surveys, and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
• Develop and manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up and conversion of leads into confirmed business.
• Explore new markets, regions, industries, and customer segments for business expansion.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, trade fairs, conferences, and business forums in India and overseas.
• Coordinate and support customer/factory audits, including documentation review, site visits, stakeholder coordination, recording observations, and preparation of audit reports, wherever required.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and developments within the manufacturing and related industries.
• Maintain daily sales activity reports and provide regular updates on leads, opportunities, customer visits, and sales progress.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly sales forecasts for the assigned territory.
• Undertake frequent travel for customer meetings, business development, exhibitions, factory visits, and market expansion activities.
• Coordinate with international customers, global counterparts, and internal teams for business development and execution.
• Work towards achieving assigned business development, customer acquisition, market expansion, and revenue objectives.

Preferred Candidate Profile:
