Job summary

IMPRESARIO handmade restaurants is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Bartender to join the Food & Beverage Service team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in bartending, basic knowledge of beverages, and a passion for delivering excellent guest experiences.

You will assist in beverage preparation, maintain bar cleanliness, manage stock, and ensure smooth service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in a restaurant or bar setting.
• Basic knowledge of beverages.
• Interest in cocktail preparation and mixology.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bartender with beverage prep and service.

Job Summary:

We are looking for enthusiastic and service-oriented Assistant Bartenders to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in bartending, basic knowledge of beverages and bar operations, and a passion for delivering excellent guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Bartender in preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
2. Support the preparation of cocktails, mocktails, spirits, mixers and other beverages.
3. Ensure the bar counter is clean, organised and well-maintained at all times.
4. Assist in setting up the bar before service and closing procedures after operations.
5. Maintain adequate stock of liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware and other bar supplies.
6. Ensure proper handling, storage and rotation of beverages and ingredients.
7. Assist in preparing garnishes, syrups, infusions and other basic bar ingredients.
8. Follow standard recipes, portion controls and presentation guidelines.
9. Maintain hygiene, sanitation and safety standards as per company policies.
10. Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth and timely beverage service.
11. Assist in stock counting, inventory management and reporting shortages.
12. Ensure responsible service of alcohol in accordance with company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 0 - 2 years of experience in a restaurant, bar, hotel or hospitality establishment.
• Basic knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Interest in learning cocktail preparation and mixology.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant and bar environment.
• Good grooming standards and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends and holidays.

Education: Minimum HSC / 12th Pass preferred. Hospitality-related education or certification will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile:
Candidates with experience as Bar Helper, Bar Back, Junior Bartender, F&B Associate or Assistant Bartender are encouraged to apply.
