Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Pune, India, seeks a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Global Center of Excellence - Quality data analytics team. The role focuses on digitizing quality processes, improving efficiency, and delivering insights from Power Platform, Python, ML and AI.

You will prepare reports and dashboards for stakeholders, monitor project performance, and ensure data integrity and high visual quality across dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in similar areas.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business reporting and automation projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive operational efficiencies and strategic decision-making.
• Develop digital solution for ESA business for manual processes using Power platform tools, Python, ML & AI
• Work collaboratively with cross functional teams and drive digitalization and productivity projects.
• Assist with design and generating reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Microsoft 365 digital tools (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate, etc.) to communicate key metrics and performance indicators to stakeholders across the organization.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of digitalization projects, providing regular updates and recommendations for optimization to the Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager.
• Work for all the suggested enhancements in current applications and dashboards.
• Ensure all the existing dashboards are live and refreshed correctly.
• Ensure that the data is correct by transforming and cleaning data.
• Troubleshoot and rectify Apps and dashboards whenever required.
• Dashboards should be of a high visual quality (using standards for spacing, fonts, margins, colour pallet, flow, ordering).
• Generate standards or custom reports summarizing business, financials, or economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders

"This position will be based in Supply chain management GSCCoE in Pune. Seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Global Center of Excellance - Quality team data analytics team. Reporting directly to the Quality Systems Manager, you will play a vital role digitalizing quality processes improving efficiency and productivity, developing solutions with use of Power platform, ML, Python and AI. You will also prepare and share reports to stakeholders providing data insights."

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• 3-5 years of handson experience in similar areas.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business reporting and Automation projects

Skills:

• Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query
• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role within a manufacturing or related industry.
• Knowledge of different types of Databases (Relational, Graphic...)
• Good knowledge of Python, Machine learning and AI agents
• Data Manipulation skills, working with large datasets, Data Modeling
• Experience within large data environments (Cloudera, OBIEE, etc)
• Proficiency in data analysis, data visualization, and reporting using tools such as Power BI, PowerApps
• Technical skills in DAX, SQL
• Good Presentation skills
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Able to deal with complexity.
• Prior experience in a global organization and knowledge of manufacturing processes is a plus.
