Skipper Ltd. is looking for a capable professional to drive asset management strategy in Kolkata. The role includes managing the full asset lifecycle, using data analytics to enhance performance, and overseeing inventory management and budget control.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with high-value asset portfolios, especially in 765 kV transmission lines, and will lead engineering teams while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

• Manage the full asset lifecycle from commissioning to decommissioning.
• Use data analytics for forecasting failures and planning interventions.
• Oversee inventory management and CAPEX/OPEX budgets.
• Lead and mentor engineering and technical teams.
• Manage high value asset portfolios exceeding 100 Cr.

Job description

• Drive asset management strategy aligned with business goals and project lifecycles, optimizing asset performance through portfolio analysis, cost control, and ROI focused planning.
• Manage the full asset lifecycle—from commissioning to decommissioning—supported by strong governance, tracking systems, and predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Use data analytics and condition monitoring tools to forecast failures, plan interventions, and maximize uptime and reliability.
• Oversee inventory management, spare parts planning, and critical component availability while managing CAPEX/OPEX budgets and lifecycle cost analysis.
• Lead and mentor engineering and technical teams, ensuring smooth asset handover from construction to operations, and ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
• Demonstrate proven ability to manage high value asset portfolios (?100 Cr+), with strong hands on experience in 765 kV transmission lines and direct exposure to PGCIL TBCB projects.
