Job summary

Everforth Quinnox is seeking an AS/400 (IBM i) expert to join our Bangalore office as a combined AS400 support and development resource. The role requires 8-10 years of hands-on RPGLE development experience and strong knowledge of CLLE, DB2/DB400, SQL, and IBM i operating environment.

You will work on developing, enhancing, debugging, and maintaining business-critical applications, with a focus on production support, incident management, problem management, and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in RPGLE development and IBM i (AS/400) application support.
• Strong expertise in RPGLE, CLLE, DB2/DB400, SQL, and IBM i operating environment.
• Experience in developing, enhancing, debugging, and maintaining business-critical applications.
• Strong knowledge of production support, incident management, problem management, and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to analyze complex programs, identify defects, and implement effective and sustainable solutions.
• Experience working with job scheduling, batch processing, data files, interfaces, and system integrations.
• Good understanding of SDLC, change management, code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers.
