Job summary

Nexturn is seeking a Sr. Developer - AS400 to join our technology team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on IBM i / AS400 development experience, including RPG, RPGLE, CL, DB2/400, and SQL/400, to design, build, and support critical business applications.

You will analyze requirements, develop solutions, and assist production support, with a focus on reliability, performance, and quality. Collaboration with business users and operations teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IBM AS400 / iSeries development and maintenance.
• Strong hands-on experience in RPG, RPGLE, CL, CLLE, ILE, and Free Format RPG.
• Good knowledge of DB2/400, SQL/400, DDS, physical/logical files, and stored procedures.
• Experience in incident management, problem management, and production support.
• Familiarity with job scheduling, batch processing, and AS400 utilities.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in AS400 development.
