Job Summary

We are seeking experienced AS400 Developers with strong expertise in IBM AS400/iSeries application development and a solid background in the Core Banking domain. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in payment systems, including domestic and international payment transactions, and be capable of developing, enhancing, and supporting mission‑critical banking applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications on the IBM AS400 (iSeries) platform.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and support banking applications related to core banking and payment processing.
• Work on domestic and international payment transaction systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with business analysts, testing teams, and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Support production deployments and provide post‑implementation support.
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in AS400 Development.
• Experience with IBM iSeries/AS400 environment and related development tools.
• Strong understanding of Core Banking systems and processes.
• Hands‑on experience in Payment Domain, including:
• Domestic payment processing
• International payment transactions
• Payment message flows and reconciliation
• Experience in application maintenance, enhancements, and production support.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with leading banking or financial institutions.
• Exposure to SWIFT, payment gateways, remittance, clearing, or settlement processes.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
