Job summary

Wipro in Hyderabad is seeking an AS/400 Senior Developer to develop and test software modules based on client requirements and to prepare project documentation. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery.

The role requires deep AS/400 expertise, experience with DB2/400, CL, RPG, SQL/400 and a background in Manufacturing and Supply Chain domains. You will work on AS/400 modernization and performance tuning.

Qualifications

AS/400 Senior Developer JD

Location -Hyderabad

• Over 5 years of experience in development and support with core AS/400 technologies, including DB2/400, CL, RPG III/RPG IV/Free Form.
• Extensive expertise in SQL/400, QUERY/400, and other AS/400 utilities.
• Knowledge of data extraction based on defined specifications, along with experience in EDI tools and processes
• Experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain domains
• Strong understanding of database technologies such as DDS physical and logical files, SQL files, stored procedures, and complex SQL queries.
• Proficient in advanced ILE concepts, including procedures, service programs, and functions.
• Exposure to AS/400 modernization engagements
• Thorough understanding of application and database performance best practices and tuning techniques.
• Extensive experience in preparing design and estimation documents required for development changes proposed by business users.
