Job summary

JobItUs, based in Mumbai’s BKC area, seeks a detail-oriented Artwork Designer to create, edit, and manage print-ready packaging artwork for cartons, labels, leaflets, and inserts, ensuring brand and regulatory compliance.

With 10+ years of experience, you will coordinate with marketing, regulatory, QA, and vendors to deliver artwork on time, maintaining version control and meeting timelines. Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and CorelDRAW is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate / Diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, or Multimedia.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and CorelDRAW.
• Strong understanding of packaging artwork, pre-press, and print processes.
• Knowledge of Pantone and color management.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify artwork for cartons, labels, pouches, leaflets, and other packaging material.
• Prepare print-ready files with correct dielines, bleeds, barcodes, and color specifications.
• Coordinate with marketing, regulatory, QA, and printing vendors for artwork approvals.
• Ensure artwork meets brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Perform proofreading and artwork checks to avoid errors before printing.
• Maintain an organized artwork database with version control.
• Handle revisions quickly and meet project timelines.
• Support color matching and press approvals with printers when required.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify artwork for cartons, labels, pouches, leaflets, and other packaging material
• Prepare print-ready files with correct dielines, bleeds, barcodes, and color specifications
• Coordinate with marketing, regulatory, QA, and printing vendors for artwork approvals
• Ensure artwork meets brand guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Perform proofreading and artwork checks to avoid errors before printing
• Maintain an organized artwork database with version control
• Handle revisions quickly and meet project timelines
• Support color matching and press approvals with printers when required

Required Skills
