Job summary

Synmatch AI is hiring an AI Agent Developer to design and deploy AI agents and automated workflows that transform internal operations and client projects in finance consulting. You’ll identify automation opportunities and build integrations with APIs, data sources, and cloud services while shaping how AI is used across the organization.

The role requires 3–4+ years of AI/LLM experience, hands-on automation build skills, and strong English proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of AI platforms and LLMs experience including Claude and GPT-4o.
• Hands-on agentic workflows or automation build experience in production.
• Knowledge of API integrations, webhooks, and no-code/low-code automation tools.
• Structured problem-solving with fast prototyping.
• Interest in finance topics and strong communication to non-technical teams.
• English proficiency at C1/C2 level.

Our client seeks an experienced AI professional who can identify automation potential in existing processes and translate them into production ready solutions. You'll work closely with finance consultants to understand real business processes and turn them into automated, AI-driven workflows using modern frameworks and LLM capabilities.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving environment where you'll take early ownership of projects, build agentic workflows, and actively shape how AI is used across the organization from internal operations to client-facing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design & Deploy AI Agents: Build AI agents and automated workflows that support internal operations and client projects
• Drive AI Adoption: Actively shape how Artificial Intelligence is used across a finance consulting environment
• Identify Automation Potential: Spot opportunities in existing processes and translate them into working, production-ready solutions
• Build Integrations: Develop connections between LLMs and internal/external tools, data sources, and platforms (APIs, databases, cloud services)
• Agentic Workflows: Build and maintain multi-step automations, RAG pipelines, and tool-calling agents using modern AI frameworks
• Business Translation: Work closely with finance consultants to understand real business processes and convert them into automated, AI-driven solutions
• Project Ownership: Take early ownership of projects in a hands-on, fast-moving environment

Candidate requirements

• AI & LLM Experience: 3-4+ years of comparable experience with AI platforms and LLMs (e.g., Claude, GPT-4o) including prompt engineering
• Agentic Build Experience: Demonstrated hands-on experience building agentic workflows or automation solutions in production
• Integration Skills: Knowledge of API integrations, webhooks, and no-code/low-code automation tools
• Problem-Solving: Structured, solution-oriented thinking with fast prototyping capabilities
• Business Acumen: Interest in finance topics combined with strong communication skills to transfer knowledge to non-technical teams
• English Proficiency: Fluent written and spoken English (C1/C2 level)

Must-have requirements

• Experience with AI platforms and LLMs including Claude and GPT-4o, plus prompt engineering
• Demonstrated hands-on agentic or automation build experience
• English at C1/C2
• Notice period is irrelevant to the client
• Stated minimum is 3 to 4 years in a comparable position, but see watch-out 1 above: the client wants an experienced, independent operator and has budgeted accordingly
