Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Lead to shape enterprise-wide learning pathways across AI and emerging technologies. You will govern curriculum, drive continuous improvement, and align capability-building with business objectives.

You will collaborate with business leaders, manage learning delivery teams, and review AI/GenAI curricula to ensure relevance, outcomes, and measurable impact across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a recognized institution.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Certifications in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, AI, Data Analytics, Cloud or related domains will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement structured learning pathways across key technology and professional skill domains, including: AI & GenAI, Data & Analytics, Cybersecurity, Domain and Functional Skills, and Communication & Professional Effectiveness Skills.
• Establish competency frameworks, proficiency models, and learning roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives.
• Develop and maintain learning standards, frameworks, and governance mechanisms to ensure consistency and quality across programs.
• Review, evaluate, and approve curriculum updates pertaining to AI and GenAI technologies.
• Conduct periodic curriculum reviews and refresh cycles to incorporate emerging industry trends, technological advancements, and evolving business needs.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Learning & Development Lead to drive the design, governance, and continuous enhancement of learning programs across AI and emerging technology domains. The role will be responsible for defining enterprise-wide learning pathways, ensuring curriculum relevance, and aligning capability-building initiatives with evolving business and industry demands.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a recognized institution.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Professional certifications in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, AI, Data Analytics, Cloud, or related domains will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Learning & Development, Technical Training, or Capability Development.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Curriculum Design and Learning Program Management.
• Proven experience managing trainers, facilitators, and learning delivery teams.
• Experience partnering with business leaders and stakeholders to identify skill requirements and develop corresponding learning interventions.
• Exposure to AI, GenAI, Data Analytics, Cloud Technologies, Cybersecurity, or Digital Transformation initiatives is preferred.

• Standardize learning outcomes, assessment methodologies, and competency measurement frameworks.
• Leverage AI-driven learning frameworks and platforms to enhance learner engagement, personalization, and capability tracking.
• Monitor and report program effectiveness through learning analytics, certification outcomes, skill proficiency improvements, and business impact metrics.
