Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Articled Assistant role located in Bengaluru. The Articled Assistant will support audit and assurance assignments, including vouching, verification of financial records, preparation of working papers, and assistance in statutory and tax audits. Daily responsibilities may include bookkeeping support, ledger scrutiny, preparation of financial statements, and documentation for tax filings and compliance. The role also involves assisting senior team members with research on accounting and tax matters, drafting reports, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation. The Articled Assistant will collaborate with colleagues and clients, follow firm processes, and actively participate in training and knowledge-building activities.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be registered or eligible to register as Article trainees under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or pursuing an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Strong foundation in accounting principles, auditing standards, and basic taxation concepts, with the ability to apply them in practical engagements.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with accounting software or ERPs; willingness to learn new tools and systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear working papers, documentation, and basic reports.
• Ability to work diligently on-site, manage time effectively, and handle multiple assignments with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated integrity, professional conduct, and readiness to learn in a structured training environment.
• Prior internship or practical exposure in audit, accounting, or finance will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
