Job summary

Sociowash in New Delhi is seeking an experienced Art Director to lead creative projects for digital and traditional campaigns. You will drive visual storytelling, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling brand narratives.

The role requires 5–7 years in a creative digital agency, strong leadership, and proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro. You will work onsite in Delhi with a dynamic, fun-loving team.

Responsibilities

• Ideate and design creatives as per the client's brief with your team.
• Collaborate with Account Manager and Content Strategist on design style, format, print production, and timelines.
• Determine size and arrangement of visuals and copy, and font style and size.
• Prepare rough drafts based on an agreed brief and present key visuals for campaigns across social or outdoor media.
• Mentor a team of Visualizers and guide them in visual aesthetics and communication.

Requirements

• We want a kickass, smart and quick-witted Art Director with an experience of 5-7 years, preferably in a creative digital agency.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to lead by example.
• Must be in love with Photoshop and Illustrator and also have an understanding of After Effects, Premiere Pro.
• Can ace multitasking and is looking for an enriching and challenging role.
• You should have exceptional creativity running in your veins.
• Giving attention to detail and accuracy of work should be your thing.
• Should have an understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment.

• Preparing key visuals for campaigns & brands for Social Media or Outdoor Media.
• Mentor a team of young Visualizers and Senior Visualizers and help them understand visual aesthetics and visual communication for a brand.
• Mentor Visualizers to grow them into future leaders.
• Work allocation & excellent management skills to lead a team.
• Campaign planning and building for the given set of clients.
• Upselling the existing clients.
• Helping in acquiring new business and working on pitches and new ideas.
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements, if required.
