Job summary

Duruper is seeking skilled welders with experience in Argon (TIG) and CO₂ (MIG/MAG) welding to join our fabrication team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on welding and fabricating metal components while ensuring quality, accuracy and safety standards.

You will read engineering drawings, prepare and fit parts, and maintain welding equipment. Candidates should have an ITI in Welding or equivalent technical qualification with hands-on TIG and MIG/MAG experience, a solid understanding of welding

Qualifications

• ITI in Welding / Fitter or relevant technical qualification; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• Hands-on experience in TIG and/or MIG/MAG welding.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication and welding techniques.
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings.
• Understanding of welding quality standards and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform Argon (TIG) and CO₂ (MIG/MAG) welding operations.
• Weld stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium and other metals as per job requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications.
• Prepare, align and fit metal components before welding.
• Maintain appropriate welding parameters and ensure proper weld quality.
• Inspect finished welds for defects and perform necessary corrections.
• Carry out grinding, finishing and fabrication activities.
• Maintain welding equipment and follow workplace safety procedures.
