Job summary

Piramal Pharma Limited is seeking an Area Sales Officer to drive sales and market share growth within Bengaluru and surrounding districts, resolving customer needs and maintaining strong physician and pharmacist relationships.

You will visit healthcare facilities, promote products, and track targets, reporting results and collaborating with marketing and distribution teams to expand product reach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of proven pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across territory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned products in the territory.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market reach and product penetration.
• Build and maintain relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals.
• Visit healthcare facilities, pharmacies, and stockists to promote products and gather market intelligence.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends; provide feedback to management.
• Ensure timely collection of payments from customers in the territory.
• Submit accurate sales and expense reports and other required documents.
• Participate in sales meetings, trainings, and product launches as required.
• Manage product samples and promotional materials effectively.
• Adhere to company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned products within the designated territory.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand market reach and increase product penetration.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals.
• Conduct regular visits to healthcare facilities, pharmacies, and stockists to promote products and gather market intelligence.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing regular feedback to management.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from customers within the assigned territory.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely sales reports, expense reports, and other required documentation.
• Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and product launches as required.
• Manage product samples, promotional materials, and other sales tools effectively.
• Adhere to company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market and healthcare industry dynamics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
