The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for developing and managing business within an assigned geographic territory. The role focuses on identifying new corporate clients, expanding business with existing accounts, and achieving revenue targets through strategic sales initiatives.
The ASM will lead regional sales efforts, manage client relationships, monitor market trends, and ensure consistent sales growth while representing the company’s relocation and logistics services to corporate customers.
Key Responsibilities
Territory Sales Management
- Manage and grow sales within the assigned territory.
- Identify new corporate accounts and generate new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve sustainable revenue growth.
- Monitor regional market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities.
Business Development
- Prospect new clients through direct sales, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, and industry events.
- Conduct cold calls, lead qualification, and appointment scheduling with prospective clients.
- Conduct client meetings, relocation surveys, and needs assessments.
- Prepare and present business proposals, quotations, and service solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to convert opportunities into business.
Client Relationship Management
- Build strong professional relationships with corporate clients.
- Map customer organizations and identify key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and provide customized relocation and logistics solutions.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing corporate accounts.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and CRM records.
- Update daily sales activities and client interactions in ERP/CRM systems.
- Prepare and submit daily, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
- Analyze sales data and provide market insights to management.
Marketing & Networking
- Support the marketing team in executing sales campaigns and promotional activities.
- Attend business networking events, industry conferences, and seminars.
- Develop and use high-quality sales presentations and promotional materials.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as customer service, operations, and marketing to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Support and guide junior sales executives if assigned.
- Ensure team members achieve assigned sales targets where applicable.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate sales or business development

- Experience in relocation services, logistics, transportation, or global mobility preferred
- Experience in preparing proposals, RFPs, and tenders
