Job summary

Mahindra Finance is seeking a legal recovery professional in Assam to manage debt recovery and litigation. You will coordinate with advocates and in-house teams, draft notices and suits, and monitor SARFAESI, DRT, and court proceedings to ensure compliance.

The role requires a law degree with experience in recovery, arbitration knowledge, and strong negotiation and analytical skills with willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage legal recovery and resolution of bad debt/NPA accounts through appropriate legal actions.

• Draft, review, and issue legal notices, recovery suits, arbitration matters, and enforcement actions.
• Monitor court cases, DRT proceedings, SARFAESI actions, and ensure timely legal compliance.
• Provide legal guidance to business and collections teams on recovery strategies and risk mitigation.
• Prepare MIS reports, track recovery progress, and ensure achievement of legal recovery targets.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Law (LLB preferred) with experience in debt recovery and litigation.

• Good negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills with willingness to travel extensively.
