Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• MBA or CA/CFA certification preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in credit management, with 3–5 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire credit process from application to disbursement and recovery within the Kurnool area.
• Lead and mentor a team of credit officers, ensuring adherence to credit policies.
• Conduct comprehensive credit appraisals and financial analysis of loan applications to assess repayment capacity and risk.
• Make informed credit decisions and recommendations in line with policies and risk appetite.
• Monitor portfolio performance, identify early warning signals, and mitigate credit risk.
• Develop strategies to improve asset quality and reduce NPAs.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to meet targets while maintaining credit quality.
• Prepare and present regular credit reports and portfolio reviews to senior management.
• Conduct field visits to assess borrower profiles and collateral as needed.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CA, CFA) preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in credit management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the financial services sector.
• In-depth knowledge of credit appraisal techniques, financial statement analysis, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Strong understanding of local market dynamics and economic conditions in the Kurnool region.
• Proven track record of managing a healthy credit portfolio and achieving asset quality targets.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English and Telugu is essential.
