Job summary

IIFL HOME LOAN is seeking a Location - Head in Indore to lead collections operations and drive recovery of overdue home loan accounts. You will manage field teams, coordinate with agencies, and ensure regulatory compliance to reduce delinquency and minimize losses.

The role requires 7–12 years in loan collections with 3–5 years in a managerial capacity, preferably in home/secured loan collections. Strong leadership and stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 7–12 years in loan collections, incl. 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in home loan or secured loan collections preferred.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to drive performance across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and supervise multiple On-Field Collection Managers across the assigned location.
• Drive recovery performance by ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of delinquent accounts.
• Formulate and execute collection strategies at the location level in line with organizational goals.
• Monitor portfolio health, identify high-risk accounts, and ensure effective action plans are implemented.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, RBI guidelines, and regulatory compliance in all collection practices.
• Coordinate with external collection agencies and vendors for recovery support.
• Track and report performance metrics, portfolio trends, and recovery progress to Zonal/National Heads.
• Provide regular training, mentoring, and motivation to on-field managers to enhance efficiency and professionalism.
• Handle escalated customer issues and resolve disputes effectively to protect customer relationships and brand reputation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for resolution of complex or chronic cases and drive team performance through regular reviews and structured reporting.

Working within the Collections/Recovery Department, the role focuses on managing field teams, achieving targets, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with agencies and internal stakeholders. It is critical in reducing delinquency and minimizing losses.
