Job summary

Vistaar Financial Services Private Limited in India seeks a dynamic Regional Collections Manager to lead the collections portfolio across allocated regions, covering Flow Buckets, Early Delinquency, NPA Management and Hard Recovery.

The incumbent will drive collections performance through direct field teams and collection agencies, ensuring achievement of PAR, NPA, LLP, and NCL targets while maintaining high recovery efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• MBA/PGDM (Finance) or CA preferred.
• 8+ years in collections within Banking/NBFC or Mortgage lending.
• Experience managing regional portfolios and distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional collections performance across all delinquency buckets from flow to NPA recoveries.
• Ensure achievement of collection KPIs including PAR, NPA, LLP, Write-offs and NCL targets.
• Develop and execute collection strategies to improve resolution rates and portfolio quality.
• Monitor daily collection performance and take corrective actions to optimize recoveries.
• Drive bucket-wise collection efficiency through field collections, tele-calling units and external agencies.

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Regional Collections Manager to lead the collections portfolio across allocated regions, covering Flow Buckets, Early Delinquency, NPA Management, and Hard Recovery. The incumbent will drive collections performance through direct field teams and collection agencies, ensuring achievement of PAR, NPA, LLP, and NCL targets while maintaining high recovery efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Collections & Portfolio Management

• Drive regional collections performance across all delinquency buckets, from flow collections to NPA recoveries.
• Ensure achievement of collection KPIs including PAR, NPA, LLP, Write-offs, and NCL targets.
• Develop and execute collection strategies to improve resolution rates and portfolio quality.
• Monitor daily collection performance and take corrective actions to optimize recoveries.
• Drive bucket-wise collection efficiency through field collections, tele-calling units, and external agencies.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing collections team across the region.
• Manage and monitor Collection Managers, Field Executives, and Agency Partners.
• Drive employee engagement, productivity, retention, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with Business, Credit, Legal, Risk, Operations, and Audit teams for effective portfolio management.

Agency & Vendor Management

• Manage collection agencies and ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory guidelines.
• Oversee performance of tele-calling vendors, legal firms, repossession agencies, and ARCs.
• Conduct regular agency reviews and implement performance improvement plans.

Recovery & Legal Management

• Drive NPA recovery initiatives through legal and non-legal recovery mechanisms.
• Ensure compliance with applicable RBI guidelines and regulatory frameworks.
• Coordinate with legal teams for SARFAESI actions, litigation management, repossessions, and settlements.
• Monitor recovery cases and expedite resolution through structured follow-up.

Planning & Governance

• Prepare annual collection budgets covering manpower, agency expenses, and operational costs.
• Leverage analytics, MIS, and portfolio insights to improve collection effectiveness.
• Ensure governance, audit compliance, and process adherence across all collection activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

• Any Graduate with Post Graduate Qualification preferred.
• MBA / PGDM (Finance), CA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Collections within Banking, NBFC, Housing Finance, or Mortgage Lending.
• Proven experience in managing mortgage/LAP/home loan collections across multiple delinquency buckets.
• Experience handling large regional portfolios and distributed teams.
