Job summary

IIFL HOME LOAN is seeking a Location - Head to lead collections operations in the designated location and drive recovery of overdue home loan accounts. The role focuses on managing field teams, ensuring targets are met, and maintaining strict regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate with agencies and internal stakeholders, monitor portfolio health, and report progress to central leadership. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision making are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required; 7–12 years in loan collections.
• 3–5 years in a managerial role leading teams.
• Experience in home loan or secured loan collections preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise multiple On-Field Collection Managers across the assigned location.
• Drive recovery performance by ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of delinquent accounts.
• Formulate and execute collection strategies at the location level.
• Monitor portfolio health, identify high-risk accounts, and ensure effective action plans.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, RBI guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with external collection agencies and vendors for recovery support.
• Track and report performance metrics, portfolio trends, and recovery progress to Zonal/National Heads.
• Provide regular training, mentoring, and motivation to on-field managers.
• Handle escalated customer issues and resolve disputes effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for resolution of complex cases and drive team performance.

Working within the Collections/Recovery Department, the role focuses on managing field teams, achieving targets, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with agencies and internal stakeholders. It is critical in reducing delinquency and minimizing losses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and supervise multiple On-Field Collection Managers across the assigned location.
• Drive recovery performance by ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of delinquent accounts.
• Formulate and execute collection strategies at the location level in line with organizational goals.
• Monitor portfolio health, identify high-risk accounts, and ensure effective action plans are implemented.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, RBI guidelines, and regulatory compliance in all collection practices.
• Coordinate with external collection agencies and vendors for recovery support.
• Track and report performance metrics, portfolio trends, and recovery progress to Zonal/National Heads.
• Provide regular training, mentoring, and motivation to on-field managers to enhance efficiency and professionalism.
• Handle escalated customer issues and resolve disputes effectively to protect customer relationships and brand reputation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Legal, Risk, Sales) for resolution of complex or chronic cases and drive team performance through regular reviews and structured reporting.
