Job summary

IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a Regional Business Risk & Control Manager to strengthen operational and compliance culture across PAN India branches. The role focuses on RBRCM reviews, gap closure with branches, and monitoring key service metrics to sustain audit readiness.

You will train branches, drive regional improvements, and coordinate with area heads and central teams to implement control enhancements and robust risk management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering/Technology/Math/Commerce/Arts/Science/Business/Computers/Engineering/Management.
MBA or PGDM.
5-10 Years of similar domain experience.

Responsibilities

Branch level and central review of JLG, MEL/MBL, Affordable HL & LAP products for Operations & Compliance.
Work closely with branches/Area Heads/central teams to ensure that all gaps identified during the RBRCM visit/review are closed by the branch.
Monitor branch on critical service and operational parameters through remote monitoring of critical transactions.
Ensure the branches are visited for assessment as per the plan.
Work closely with the branches to ensure that they secure a good score in internal audit rating.
Conduct Training programs for branches to improve operational compliance and efficiency at branches.
Drive and work with the branches in the region to secure a good score on the Branch Operational & Compliance Index.
Render support and guide Region & Branch SPOC for new branch preparation & launch.
Take up regional-level projects to drive improvement in various operations & Compliance areas.
Zonal/Regional level presentations/dashboards at a regular frequency with respective observations and improvements.
Manage OR related points such as OR Incidents, OR Issues, Control testing, etc.
Manage IAD and Compliance observations and Obligations.
Stakeholder Management & Timely Completion of the Tasks.

Job Purpose

The role will help the organization and unit in maintaining a robust operational & compliance culture at the branches catering JLG, MEL/MBL, Affordable HL & LAP by ensuring regular branch visits, product/process review and monitoring to identify Gap, areas of improvement and working closely with the branches/central teams to close the same.
