Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in architectural planning, design development, and preparation of drawings.
• Prepare plans, elevations, sections, area statements, schedules, and construction details.
• Support the preparation and revision of GFC drawings and documentation.
• Develop 3D models and basic visualizations for reviews and presentations.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, and other inputs.
• Identify drawing conflicts and coordinate resolutions.
• Incorporate client comments and consultant inputs into drawing packages.
• Maintain drawing standards, revision history, and organization.
• Support site coordination through clarification sketches and revised drawing sets.
• Assist Senior Architects in timelines and timely submissions.

About the Role

Our Organization is looking for a detail-oriented and technically sound Architectural Assistant to support the architecture team in planning, design development, technical documentation, drafting, and multidisciplinary coordination for high-rise residential and commercial projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong drafting skills, good architectural understanding, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under the guidance of Senior Architects and Project Leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in architectural planning, design development, and preparation of presentation, approval, and working drawings.


• Prepare accurate plans, elevations, sections, area statements, schedules, and construction details.


• Support the preparation and revision of GFC drawings and documentation under the guidance of the Senior Architect.


• Develop 3D models and basic visualizations for design reviews, presentations, and project coordination.


• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, and other consultant inputs.


• Identify drawing conflicts and coordinate with senior team members for resolution.


• Incorporate approved design changes, client comments, and consultant inputs into drawing packages.


• Maintain drawing standards, dimensions, annotations, title blocks, and revision history.


• Ensure project drawings and documentation are properly organized and updated.


• Support site coordination through clarification sketches, detail drawings, and revised drawing sets whenever required.


• Assist Senior Architects in maintaining project timelines and ensuring timely submission of drawings.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Architecture is mandatory.


• 1–4 years of relevant professional experience in an architectural firm.


• Experience or exposure to high-rise residential and/or commercial projects will be strongly preferred.


• Good understanding of architectural drawings, construction detailing, and basic structural/MEP coordination.


• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple drawing revisions accurately.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.


• Working knowledge of Revit will be an advantage.


• Knowledge of Photoshop, Enscape, Lumion, or other visualization software will be preferred.


• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.


• Ability to understand and interpret architectural drawings and technical documentation.
