Job summary

Fortress Infracon Limited in Thane, Maharashtra is seeking an Architectural Draftsman to prepare drawings and manage documentation for a range of residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

The role requires AutoCAD proficiency with familiarity in SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to read architectural and structural drawings. Site visits may be required to verify dimensions and design accuracy.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Architectural Draftsmanship required.
• Experience with architectural drawings and construction documentation preferred.
• Knowledge of municipal by-laws and building codes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural and working drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Create and maintain construction documentation and as-built drawings.
• Work closely with architects and engineers to ensure design intent is maintained.
• Assist in preparing municipal drawings and approval documentation.
• Support in generating presentation drawings, layouts, and coordination drawings.
• Perform site visits when required to gather dimensions and verify design accuracy.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drafting files.

Fortress Infracon Limited is looking for skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsmen with few years of relevant experience to support our architectural and design teams. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in preparing accurate construction drawings, working drawings, and presentation sets for a variety of residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

• Prepare detailed architectural and working drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Create and maintain construction documentation and as-built drawings.
