Job summary

Della Townships seeks an Architectural Draughtsman with a strong background in large-scale residential and mixed-use township projects. Based at our Mumbai Head Office, you will translate master plans into high-quality working drawings, technical specs, and municipal submission layouts.

Ideal candidates will have 4–8 years of experience, expert AutoCAD skills, and familiarity with UDCPR and NBC guidelines. Revit BIM experience is a plus for township modelling.

Qualifications

• Must have executed at least one large-scale integrated township project (50+ acres) from conceptual planning to GFC release.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (Expert level mandatory).
• Experience with BIM software like Autodesk Revit is advantageous for township modelling.
• Thorough knowledge of building construction techniques, structural systems, and material detailing.
• Strong understanding of scaling, layout composition, and multi-layered large CAD file organization.

Responsibilities

• Technical Drafting & Working Drawings for master plans, floor plans, sections, elevations, and detailed construction drawings.
• Develop complex site master layouts, infrastructure routing, and landscape drafting for township developments.
• Produce precise detail drawings for luxury elements (villa facades, clubhouses, public spaces, hospitality zones).
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, and infrastructure teams to overlay consultant drawings and avoid clashes.
• Ensure drawings comply with local municipal guidelines, UDCPR rules, and township planning norms in Maharashtra.
• Revise drawings based on site conditions, PM requests, or design iterations from leadership.
• Maintain drawing registers, version control, and document control procedures across phases.
• Ensure architectural details comply with NBC, fire safety standards, and environmental norms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Drafting & Working Drawings
• Prepare comprehensive, highly accurate Architectural Working Drawings (Good for Construction - GFC) including floor plans, sections, elevations, and detailed construction drawings.
• Develop complex site master layouts, infrastructure routing integration, and landscape drafting specifics unique to multi-acre township developments.
• Produce precise detail drawings for luxury elements (e.g., high-end villa facades, grand clubhouses, thematic public spaces, and hospitality zones).
• Coordination & Project Execution
• Coordinate extensively with structural, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), landscape, and infrastructure engineering teams to overlay consultant drawings and eliminate clashes.
• Ensure all working drawings align seamlessly with local municipal guidelines, Unified DCR (UDCPR) rules, and township-specific planning norms in Maharashtra.
• Revise and update drawings based on site site-conditions, modifications requested by the project management team, or design iterations from senior leadership.
• Material and Standard Compliance
• Maintain accurate drawing registers, version controls, and standard document control procedures across multiple phases of the township.
• Ensure all architectural details comply with statutory fire safety standards, NBC (National Building Code), and environmental norms.

• Preferred Skill: Hands-on experience with BIM software like Autodesk Revit is highly advantageous for township modeling.
• Thorough knowledge of building construction techniques, structural systems, and material detailing.
• Exceptional understanding of scaling, layout composition, and multi-layered large file organization within CAD.

Minimum Qualification:

Diploma in Architectural Assistantship / ITI Draughtsman (Civil) / Bachelor's in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent technical certification.

Minimum Job Experience:

Minimum 4 to 8 years of experience working as an Architectural Draughtsman.
