Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking an experienced SAP Quality Management lead to design, deploy and govern the SAP Quality Management capabilities within the PepsiCo Global Template. You will drive QM processes in production, procurement and master data, ensuring integration with MM and other SAP modules across Nap North America sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree a plus.
• 9+ years of experience configuring, deploying and managing SAP S/4 HANA with a focus on Quality Management.
• Experience implementing or deploying SAP QM projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP MM-QM integration with PP/WM/SD etc.
• Knowledge of master data objects in Quality Management and data migration tools.
• Aware of performance and SAP security design impacts on the solution.
• Dispatches standard SAP quality issues with OSS and follows up on fixes.
• Knowledge/experience with SAP SolMan 7+, MS Azure DevOps, Service Now is nice to have.
• Deep understanding of project test phases.
• Adaptability, deadline management, and consulting background a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Make to Deploy Quality Management Global Process and Solution Design Leads to build and implement the solution within the global template design.
• Support localization decisions for Quality Management in the PGT during project implementation.
• Educate business process owners on solution optimization and standardization capabilities.
• Ensure global lift-and-shift opportunities are deployed across North America units.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to maintain progress without delays.
• Participate in change requests, solution walkthroughs with technical teams, SIT/UAT test prep, and go-live/hypercare activities.

Overview

This role supports the solution designing, governance and delivery/implementation of SAP Quality Management capabilities of the PepsiCo Global Template (built through SAP S4 concepts). Objectives of the role are to ensure that the PepsiCo Global Template (PGT) supports the execution of business processes related to these processes as the solution is deployed within our One North America sectors (PBNA, FLNA, PQGC).

Quality Management comprises of the following processes:

• Quality Management in Production processes
• Quality Management in Procurement (with or without supplier evaluation)
• Quality Management Master Data
• New product introduction
• Quality Notifications
• QM Reports in SAP, eHANA etc.
• Integrations with other 3rd party systems
• SAP QM and integrations with PP/PE/MM/IM/ etc.

Responsibilities

• Partner and collaborate with the Make to Deploy Quality Management Global Process and Solution Design Leads to build and implement the solution within the global template design
• Support decision-making for Quality Management localization of functionality in the PGT during project implementation
• Actively engage and educate business process owners on solution optimization, simplification and standardization capabilities
• Ensure global lift and shift opportunities are deployed across the various North America business units
• Work closely and collaborate with onshore and offshore team members to ensure prioritized and sufficient tasks are available to progress against, without delays
• Participate in key ceremonies related to change request presentation/alignment, solution walkthrough with technical teams, SIT/UAT testcase preparation and alignment, drive golive/hypercare activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, master's degree a plus
• 9+ years of experience configuring, deploying and managing SAP S/4 HANA with a focus on Quality Management
• Experience of implementing or deploying SAP QM projects
• Strong understanding of the SAP MM-QM integration with the surrounding SAP modules (PP, WM, SD, etc.)
• Knowledge of the master data objects on the Quality Management domain, the data migration processes and tools
• Aware of the impacts on the solution from performance, SAP security design perspective
• Dispatches standard SAP quality issues with OSS (Online SAP Services) and follows up the required code fixes
• Knowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP SolMan 7+, MS Azure DevOps, Service Now
• Deep understanding of project test phases
• Adaptability and flexibility including ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change
• Consulting background a plus
