Job summary

WD Partners Inc. is hiring an Architect to join a collaborative team delivering design solutions for national and global brands. The role emphasizes concept development, space planning, visualization, and rendering using AutoCAD and Revit.

Open to remote work from anywhere in India; schedule is Monday to Friday with no weekend work. You will coordinate with Mumbai and US teams, present design reviews, and contribute to drawings/GFC as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Architecture or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience in design for retail, restaurants, cafes, and QSR outlets is a plus.
• Experience coordinating with clients and internal teams in Mumbai and the US.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist the production of architectural documentation across projects through concept development, space planning, visualization and rendering.
• Interface, consult, and coordinate with clients and internal team in Mumbai and the US, acting as a point of contact and lead project design reviews.
• Provide clear and concise graphic and written sketches, details, concepts, etc. to convey design solutions for project needs.
• Communicate with project leads in Mumbai and the US on status related to timelines and scope using project management tools.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure understanding of responsibilities and assist with technical questions or issues.

As an Architect, you will work within a team to help produce documents for our clients. Our current need requires an emphasis on design capabilities, including concept development, space planning, visualization, and rendering. Preparation of drawings/GFC will be a secondary task. Strong Revit skills are also required. In addition to following WD Partners values, policies and procedures, the primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Lead and assist the production of architectural documentation across all assigned projects through concept development, space planning, visualization and rendering
• Interface, consult, and coordinate with clients and internal team in Mumbai and the US, act as a point of contact and lead project design reviews
• Provide clear and concise graphic and written sketches, details, concepts, etc as required to convey the design solutions for project specific needs
• Communicate with the project leads in Mumbai and the US on the status of your team's progress as it relates to scope of a project's timeline, utilizing defined project management tools
• Communicate effectively with all team members to ensure understanding of responsibilities and accountabilities and assist when needed on technical questions or issues

Location: We are open to hiring for remote work from any location in India.

Schedule: Our work hours are Monday - Friday, 10AM - 7PM. No weekend work hours.

Necessary Experience:

• Bachelor's in Architecture or equivalent
• Prior work experience in Architecture and designing
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Experience working on retail, restaurants, coffee shops, and/or QSR outlets
• Ability to create hand renderings
