Job summary

MBH Architects in Mumbai is seeking a Project Architect for our Retail + Restaurant studio. You will produce timely, accurate design development through construction documents, using Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp, and help grow technical skills under mentorship of project leaders.

Ideal candidates have retail project experience, strong drawing abilities, and thrive in a collaborative, multi-office environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• At least 2 years of retail project experience.
• Proficient with SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Create, assemble, and issue client deliverables using CAD, Revit, Bluebeam, SketchUp.
• Review survey documents and produce accurate drawings from site data.
• Ensure drawings comply with building codes and sustainability standards.
• Lay out small projects, test fits, and develop details.
• Perform QA checks to ensure deliverables are error-free.
• Coordinate MEP aspects.
• Inform supervisors of scope or schedule changes.
• Revise drawings per RFIs, bulletins, addenda.
• Incorporate brand standards into models and drawings.

Job description

We are seeking a Project Architect in the Mumbai office for our Retail + Restaurant studio. This role focuses on the timely and accurate production of project deliverables from design development through construction, opportunities to work on diverse retail projects across phases, contribute to high-quality documentation, and grow technical and design skills under the mentorship of project leaders and managers

A Day In Life

• Create, assemble, and issue client deliverables utilizing CAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Sketchup or other medium
• Asist with review of survey documents. Ability to create accurate drawings from the Site surveys, record sets, and as built drawings
• Implement building codes and ensure drawing adhere to codes, regulations, and sustainability standards
• Assists with the layout of small projects, test fits, and development of details.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure the deliverables are error free
• Work on MEP coordination sets
• Keep supervisors informed of changes in scope or schedule
• Revise drawings per RFI's, bulletins, and addendums
• Ensure brand standard updates are incorporated in models, drawings, etc.

You Have The Following Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or relevant field
• Minimum 2 years of retail work experience
• Working knowledge in Sketch-up, Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Photoshop, etc.
