Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Architect to design and deliver scalable Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical designs and drive successful project outcomes. Ideal candidates bring 7–10 years of IT experience, with at least 6 years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CRM platforms, including MC Engage, Personalization, Journey Builder, and integration patterns.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of professional experience with at least 6 years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CRM platforms.
• Experience designing scalable Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions addressing complex business needs.
• Strong experience in leading technical design sessions and documenting comprehensive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define business requirements and manage expectations through project execution.
• Architect scalable Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions to support organizational growth.
• Lead technical design sessions and document solutions; identify gaps between current and target states.
• Oversee development, integrations, and data migration with timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, ensure best practices for quality and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot critical system issues and perform deep technical analysis to identify root causes.
• Engage with Salesforce product teams to support delivery and leverage platform enhancements.

Experience Range:

7 to 10 years of professional experience, including at least 6 years of specialized expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CRM platforms

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements, deliverables, and proactively manage expectations throughout project execution
• Design and architect scalable Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions that directly address complex business needs and support organizational growth
• Lead technical design sessions, document comprehensive technical solutions, and identify gaps between current and target states to drive project success
• Oversee and govern the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration for Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes
• Establish and enforce coding standards, conduct rigorous code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices for quality and maintainability
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical system issues, conducting deep technical analysis to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
• Engage with Salesforce product teams to support solution delivery and leverage platform enhancements for client benefit
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, including discovery sessions, technical deep-dives, and development of proof-of-concept solutions to support business development

Required Skills:

• Expert proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, Personalization, Insights, and Account Engagement
• Advanced experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Connect and Journey Builder
• Hands-on expertise with Mobile Studio and Automation Studio
• Proficient in AMPScript, JavaScript, Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS), HTML, and CSS
• Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and segmentation within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Experience integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with external systems using APIs and ETL tools
• Comprehensive understanding of platform authentication patterns including SAML, SSO, and OAuth
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce data sharing, visibility, and security best practices (TLS, SSL)
• Familiarity with Sales, Service, and Community Clouds
• Proficient in environment management, release management, code versioning, and deployment methodologies

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Apex and Visualforce development for custom Salesforce solutions
• Hands-on knowledge of Lightning components and mobile development technologies
• Demonstrated ability in designing and delivering large-scale web-based systems
• Experience with Data Cloud and Agent Force
• Background in advanced reporting and marketing automation integration
