Job summary

Insight Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an Architect I - Security Presales to design and articulate cybersecurity solutions addressing customer risks in a hybrid environment across multiple locations in India.

The role partners with sales and delivery teams to support the full presales lifecycle, from discovery to proposal development and customer presentations. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in cloud security, Zero Trust, and Microsoft security solutions, with strong communication

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years in cybersecurity or architecture.
• 4–6+ years in customer-facing or presales roles.
• Experience with enterprise and regulated customers.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to understand customer security requirements and business objectives.
• Lead security discovery sessions, workshops, and technical assessments.
• Design end-to-end security architectures aligned with Zero Trust and industry best practices.
• Develop solution documentation including architectures, SOWs, BOMs, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Present security solutions to CIOs and CISOs.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure alignment between presales commitments and implementation.

About the role

The Presales Security Architect is responsible for designing, positioning, and articulating cybersecurity solutions that address customer business risks and technical requirements. This role works closely with sales, delivery, and partner teams to support the full presales lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, proposal development, and customer presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to understand customer security requirements and businessobjectives.
• Lead security discovery sessions, workshops, and technical assessments.
• Design end-to-end security architectures aligned with Zero Trust and industry best practices.
• Develop solution documentation including architectures, SOWs, BOMs, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Present security solutions to technical and executive stakeholders including CIOs and CISOs.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure alignment between presales commitments and implementation.
• Support development of standardized security offerings and reference architectures.

Required Experience

• 6–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, architecture, or consulting roles.
• 4–6+ years in customer-facing or presales roles.
• Experience supporting enterprise and regulated customers.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of cloud and hybrid security architectures.
• Hands-on or design-level experience with Microsoft security solutions.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, identity-first security, and threat management.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Microsoft SC-100, AZ-500, SC-200
• CISSP, CCSP, or CISM
• Cloud Security certifications (Azure / AWS)

Soft Skills

• Strong communicationand presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Commercial awareness andproposal-writingcapability.
