Job summary

Insight is seeking a Presales Security Architect to design and position cybersecurity solutions addressing business risks and technical requirements. You will collaborate with sales, delivery, and partners to support discovery, solution design, and customer presentations.

Required experience includes 6-10+ years in cybersecurity and 4-6+ years in presales. This hybrid role spans multiple cities in India and focuses on enterprise-grade security architectures and customer-facing engagements.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, architecture, or consulting roles.
• 4–6+ years in customer-facing or presales roles.
• Experience supporting enterprise and regulated customers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to understand customer security requirements and objectives.
• Lead security discovery sessions, workshops, and assessments.
• Design end-to-end security architectures aligned with Zero Trust.
• Develop solution documentation including architectures, SOWs, BOMs, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Present security solutions to CIOs and CISOs.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to align presales with implementation.
• Support development of standardized security offerings and reference architectures.

About the role

The Presales Security Architect is responsible for designing, positioning, and articulating cybersecurity solutions that address customer business risks and technical requirements. This role works closely with sales, delivery, and partner teams to support the full presales lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, proposal development, and customer presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to understand customer security requirements and businessobjectives.
• Lead security discovery sessions, workshops, and technical assessments.
• Design end-to-end security architectures aligned with Zero Trust and industry best practices.
• Develop solution documentation including architectures, SOWs, BOMs, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Present security solutions to technical and executive stakeholders including CIOs and CISOs.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure alignment between presales commitments and implementation.
• Support development of standardized security offerings and reference architectures.

• Endpoint & Workload Security (Microsoft Defender suite)

• Security Operations (SIEM/SOAR – Microsoft Sentinel)

Required Experience

• 6–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, architecture, or consulting roles.
• 4–6+ years in customer-facing or presales roles.
• Experience supporting enterprise and regulated customers.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of cloud and hybrid security architectures.
• Hands-on or design-level experience with Microsoft security solutions.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, identity-first security, and threat management.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Microsoft SC-100, AZ-500, SC-200
• CISSP, CCSP, or CISM
• Cloud Security certifications (Azure / AWS)

Soft Skills

• Strong communicationand presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Commercial awareness andproposal-writingcapability.
