Its senior living real estate vertical focuses on innovative, sustainable, and senior‑centric high‑rise residential developments across multiple Indian cities, and is seeking a Junior Architect / Architect (basis relevant experience) to strengthen its in‑house capabilities.

Role Summary
Our client is seeking a Design Manager – Architect to oversee architectural design delivery across their high‑rise senior living residential projects. The role spans design strategy, consultant coordination, financial feasibility analysis, regulatory compliance, and execution alignment, with a strong emphasis on standardising design processes and elevating user experience for senior residents.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic
- Research and recommend emerging architectural trends, global best practices, and innovations relevant to senior living.
- Identify, evaluate, and engage reputed national and international design consultants through market research and negotiations.
- Build internal capability to review, challenge, and enhance external consultant designs.
Design Development & Operations
- Review and refine design briefs in collaboration with Project Management and Business Development teams.
- Coordinate with external architects, designers, and consultants to align concepts with business, regulatory, and execution goals.
- Critically evaluate designs for feasibility, statutory compliance, cost impact, and constructability.
- Standardise architectural design processes across projects to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Track and manage design changes and coordinate approvals with liaison and regulatory teams.
- Provide creative inputs to enhance customer experience and senior‑friendly design innovation.
- Prepare and manage architectural budgets for projects.
- Evaluate cost implications of design decisions and negotiate consultant/service costs.
- Ensure budget control while maintaining high design and execution quality.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of FAR calculations and city‑specific bylaws (Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad).
Delivery & Coordination

- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth execution.
- Manage architectural contracts, certify bills, and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Monitor progress, timelines, and quality standards across active projects.
Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a reputed institution.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in architectural design within the real estate / construction industry with a builder/real estate developer side.
- Strong exposure to high‑rise residential projects.
- Pro>Ske proficient managing multiple architectural玩 firms and external consultants.
- Working knowledge of local regulations, approvals, and compliance across Tier‑1 Indian cities.
Software & Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and MS Office.
- Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Creative mindset with sensitivity toward senior‑centric and accessibility‑driven design.
