Job summary

Genpact seeks an Architect – Application Development to lead large-scale software architecture initiatives in a hybrid Mumbai/Bengaluru-like setting. You will drive design decisions, evaluate new technologies, and mentor development teams to deliver scalable AI-enabled applications.

The role requires strong cloud and architecture expertise, collaboration across product, engineering, and operations, and a track record of delivering complex systems with quality and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Advanced knowledge of software architecture principles and patterns.
• Experience in large-scale systems design and cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing software architecture for large-scale applications.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and design specifications.
• Evaluating new technologies and frameworks to determine their relevance and potential impact on the overall architecture.
• Ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architecture guidelines throughout the development lifecycle.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Identifying and mitigating technical risks and issues proactively.
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring quality and performance metrics are met.
• Participating in the full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment and maintenance.
