Job summary

Genpact is seeking an Architect for Application Development with a strong Java stack to design and implement scalable software architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and drive architectural decisions across large-scale applications.

The role requires deep experience in Java technologies, enterprise frameworks, and technical leadership to ensure delivery quality, performance, and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, CS, or Information Technology; Master’s in Software Engineering preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Java technologies and enterprise frameworks is required.
• Experience with architecture design and leadership across development teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software architecture for large-scale applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and design specifications.
• Evaluate new technologies and frameworks for relevance and impact on architecture.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines throughout the lifecycle.

• Identify and mitigate technical risks proactively.
• Conduct code reviews to meet quality and performance metrics.
• Participate in full SDLC from requirements to deployment and maintenance.
