Job summary

Clear Bracket, a Mumbai-based interior design studio operating across healthcare, residential and hospitality, is hiring two architects to run the day-to-day of two projects from early design through live construction. You will contribute design ideas and develop them with the Senior and Lead, coordinate with consultants and contractors on live projects, and guide interns and junior architects.

The role requires 3–5 years in architecture, end-to-end project experience, strong coordination

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years in architecture.
• Experience in end-to-end project work with a mid-sized studio.
• Coordination with consultants and contractors on live projects.
• Personal design contribution on completed work.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, MS Office or Google Workspace.
• Fluent English and clear communication.
• Based in Mumbai or settled in Maharashtra.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day of two projects at different stages.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients.
• Coordinate MEP, structural and other consultants on live projects; align with the design team on early-stage work.
• Contribute design ideas and develop them with the Senior and the Lead.
• Produce drawings, details, models and presentation material to the studio's standard.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, and communicate ideas within the team.
• Guide interns and junior architects on routine tasks.
• Accompany the Senior on site and progressively handle routine queries.
• Flag red flags to the Senior early, and to the Principal where critical.
• Scale from two projects to more as you settle in.

Job description

A Mumbai-based interior design studio, working across healthcare, residential and hospitality, is hiring two architects. Each reports to the Senior Architect of the assigned team and runs the day-to-day of two projects, from early design through live construction. Design contribution is expected from the first phase, not after a stretch of drafting.

What You'll Do

• Handle the day-to-day of two projects at different stages
• Coordinate in three directions: consultants and contractors, the client on routine matters, and upward to the Senior, the Lead and, when critical, the Principal
• Coordinate MEP, structural and other consultants on live projects; align with the design team on early-stage work
• Contribute design ideas and develop them with the Senior and the Lead
• Produce drawings, details, models and presentation material to the studio's standard
• Prepare and deliver presentations, and communicate ideas within the team
• Guide interns and junior architects (one to two years) on routine tasks
• Accompany the Senior on site and progressively handle routine queries
• Flag red flags to the Senior early, and to the Principal where critical
• Scale from two projects to more as you settle in

Must Have

• 3 to 5 years in architecture
• A studio of similar size (around 20 to 30 people or more) with direct Principal or Lead exposure and end-to-end project work, not a single task area
• Consultant and contractor coordination on at least one live project
• Personal design contribution on completed work
• AutoCAD and SketchUp; Photoshop and InDesign; MS Office or Google Workspace
• Fluent English and clear communication
• Based in Mumbai or genuinely settled in Maharashtra

Good to Have

• Hospitality, healthcare, institutional or residential-tower exposure
• Experience guiding interns or junior architects
• Basic familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Gemini

Not a Fit If

• Large-firm background confined to a single task area, without end-to-end exposure or direct Principal or Lead contact
• You depend on the Senior or the Lead for routine decisions
• Strong technical executor with no design contribution to show
• Weak communication that hampers coordination with consultants, site and team
• You wait for instructions rather than think about the whole project
• You resist non-standard forms or questioning the conventional answer
• Short temper or a raised voice under people or site pressure
• Relocating from outside Maharashtra without a strong reason to stay in Mumbai
• You want a relaxed or contained schedule

Compensation & Work Arrangement

₹5.00–8.00 LPA (CTC). Work from office, Mumbai, Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM.
