Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architect with 3–6 years of professional experience to join our Architecture & Urban Planning practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing architectural design, coordination, and execution of projects, with a strong focus on quality, timelines, and stakeholder coordination.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch) from a recognized institution.
Experience
- 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in architecture and/or urban planning firms.
- Experience handling mid-to-large scale residential, commercial, mixed‑use, or institutional projects.
- Exposure to onsite-based projects and regulatory environment is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, Lumion/Enscape, Photoshop, MS Office.
- Understanding of building codes, development control regulations (DCR), and statutory norms.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Develop architectural concepts, schematic designs, design development, and detailed working drawings.
- Prepare and review drawings, layouts, and specifications in compliance with local by‑laws, codes, and regulations.
- Assist in urban planning, large‑scale developments, and mixed‑use projects as required.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants (structural, MEP, landscape), contractors, and authorities.
- Manage design coordination across disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Participate in client meetings, design presentations, and site reviews.
- Provide architectural support during execution, including site visits.
- Resolve on‑site design issues and ensure adherence to approved drawings.
- Monitor quality, timelines, and compliance with design intent.
- Prepare documentation for statutory approvals and liaise with authorities where required.
- Ensure proper version control and documentation standards.
- Mentor junior architects and assist in task allocation and review.
- Work closely with senior leadership on design strategy and project planning.
