Job summary

Techno Electrics is seeking an experienced Architect at Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager level to lead architectural design, documentation, coordination, and end-to-end project execution.

The role requires 5–10 years of progressive experience with proficiency in AutoCAD and preferred BIM experience. You will mentor junior staff and coordinate with structural, MEP, electrical, and civil engineers to ensure seamless design integration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent degree.
  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in architectural design and project execution.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; BIM experience (Revit) highly preferred.
  • Strong coordination and communication with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full lifecycle of architectural design from concept to construction drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of architectural design, including concept development, layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings.
  • Prepare, review, and approve General Fire Control (GFC) and Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings in line with project timelines and quality standards.
  • Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams—including structural, MEP, electrical, civil, and HVAC engineers to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve design and execution challenges, and ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Review and evaluate shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation for compliance with design intent and project requirements.
  • Support preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), technical specifications, design estimates, and comprehensive project documentation.
  • Ensure strict adherence to national and local building codes, sustainability standards, and internal quality benchmarks.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior architects and design staff to foster professional growth and design excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Mandatory: Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in architectural design and project execution, preferably in commercial, industrial, infrastructure, data center, or large-scale building projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; experience with Revit or other BIM tools is highly preferred.
  • Strong command over design development, detailing, documentation, and construction administration processes.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills with proven experience managing relationships with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high-quality output under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to innovation and design excellence.
