Job summary

Job Summary

The Junior Architect is responsible for supporting the architectural design and coordination activities for construction projects. The role includes preparing drawings, coordinating with consultants and site teams, reviewing design details, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.

• Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, and detailed working drawings.
• Assist in design development and preparation of presentation drawings.
• Coordinate with Structural, MEP, and Project teams for design alignment.
• Review drawings and specifications as per client requirements.
• Support in preparation of material specifications and design documents.
• Visit project sites for coordination, measurements, and design verification.
• Ensure drawings are updated and maintained as per revisions.
• Assist in quantity estimation related to architectural works.
• Follow company standards, local authority regulations, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and subcontractors for architectural activities.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.
• Support senior architects during project execution and tender stages.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Architecture.
• 3 + years of experience in architectural design or construction projects.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and MS Office.
• Understanding of architectural detailing and construction methods.
• The candidate must possess hands‑on experience in commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• Ability to work within project timelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in contractor/construction company projects.
• Knowledge of 3D visualization and rendering software is an added advantage.
• Understanding of building codes and authority approvals.
